When I was a young girl attending public school in the 1930′s, my city of Toronto, Canada had a population of less than one hundred thousand people. Now there are over 2.5 million people living here and of course it is still growing.
That population is not large compared to some cities in the far East such as Osaka, Japan, where my present day mentor and teacher Kevin Riley lives. Osaka has a population of over twelve million people.
It is so great to be able to reach people not only in Toronto or Osaka but anywhere in the world via the internet.
I met Kevin Riley in person last winter when he went to Atlanta, Georgia and I was able to be there too. If it were not for the internet none of these connections could have taken place. This is the reason I have nothing but praise for the World Wide Web.
I went to Atlanta again in August 2010 for #nams4 and attended the conference there. My daughter and granddaughter were there too. We learned a lot and met some wonderful internet marketers and made several new friends.

The Way To Scan With The Operating System Windows Vista Using Photo Gallery
If you have Windows Vista on your computer and want to scan a picture, with Vista it is not as easy as with other operating systems. I guess that’s why Microsoft went to Windows 7.
Anyway, to scan a picture you bring up your “Windows Photo Gallery” program. Then click on “File” and in the dropdown the second thing you see will be “import from camera or scanner”. Click on that and then on your scanner name.
A screen will come up where you can preview the picture you want to scan. Scan it Import it and Save it just the way you want it.
QuickBooks is a multi-featured program that allows you to create invoices, customer statements and pay your bills. It has a facility for writing vendor checks, tracking inventory and managing your payroll. The program will perform many other accounting and business-management related tasks.
This is the time of year that new small business owners need to prepare all of their bookkeeping for the year on a monthly schedule. This is a daunting task for anyone new to this scenario.
I am in the process of preparing a detailed step-by-step guide to assist business owners or business owners-to-be make full use of any QuickBooks program that they have or intend to purchase.
The guide will feature screen shots of the Forms to be filled out with explanations of their functions. There are many drop-down menus in the QuickBooks programs which could be very confusing to new QuickBooks owners, hence this QuickBooks guide should be helpful to anyone interested.
QuickBooks is one of the most popular accounting and bookkeeping programs available today. You can download a free copy of “QuickBooks Easy Start” to your computer from the Intuit Website.

The twittollower system is the most advanced and unique system ever created for increasing the online presence of your home business.
When you sign up with twittollower you will be instructed from start to finish with easily understandable videos and all the tools you need to gain targeted followers.
As I mentioned in my previous post, in only three months my twitter followers went from zero to (now) over three thousand.
The system is very easy to set up and all the work is done for you except that you will have to go to your own twitter account (perhaps 4 or 5 times a day) to send relevant tweets to your followers in the “What’s Happening” section. This is a great way to remind them of any updates to your blogs or tell them about the products your are promoting.
Wishing you all the best in your home business,
PS To join twittollower and begin to magnify your online presence to many, many followers click this link Twittollower
If you use Twitter and are having a hard time getting people to follow you, here is a great place to start.
I signed up for a twitter account about three months ago and now have close to three thousand followers.
This starting place is called Twittollower. They will teach you how to get followers and the way to direct visitors to your blog over to your twitter account.
If you use twitter be sure that you always deliver relevant tweets concerning the latest news or good advice. Do not tweet any silly stuff such as “I am having a blah day” or “I’m running around in circles today”. Save this for Facebook, although your friends probably won’t appreciate your woes either.

This is a video we shot in Atlanta. Kevin Riley came all the way from Japan to the #NAMS conference at the hotel where my daughter, granddaughter and I were staying.
Here is an update of Rhodes Hall in Atlanta Georgia with a couple of pictures. Click on any picture to see a larger more detailed view. Then press your browser’s back button to continue reading.

Another place we visited was the Georgia Aquarium. If you ever go to Atlanta this is a must see for all ages.
My daughter was at #NAMS in Atlanta while my granddaughter took me around to sightsee at the above places.
The aquarium had a wheelchair available for our use so it was great for me.
I can walk OK but not very far just now. When I first got sick a year and a half ago, I was housebound for quite a while and that was when I started my career of creating digital products.
Sibling rivalry – does it ever stop? I was the oldest of five children, most of us less than two years apart. I don’t remember always fighting with my younger sister when I was a pre-schooler. But maybe I better ask my mother first before I get too proud of my behaviour as a child. […]
This coming week will mark the fourth anniversary of my little great-grandaughter’s death. My grandson’s wife created a beautiful and moving memorial video for her. Although it will make you weep, I wanted to share it with you. Then I want you to hold your family a little closer and treasure them with all your […]
Five-year-old grandson loves to go to the library. I allow him to choose his own titles, which are usually about dinosaurs, bugs, lizards, or snakes. There is something about creepy crawlies that appeals to boys that age. His favorite television shows right now are Dinosaur Dan and The Dinosaur Train. Anyway, back to the books. […]
My youngest daughter and her family went camping last weekend. After their first night in the tent, Grandson had spots all over his forehead. Looked like he was attacked by an army of mosquitoes. By noon, Grandbaby Girl had them too and Grandson was covered. Being the all-wise grandmother I am, I looked at the […]
Since summer is stretching ahead of us and your grandkids will probably be bored before you know it, I’ve got some ideas. These are excerpts from my guide called “How To Create Newsletters Your Grandkids Will Treasure.” I’ve chosen a few of the hobby and activity related ideas and hope you can make use of […]
