The Way To Scan With The Operating System Windows Vista Using Photo Gallery

If you have Windows Vista on your computer and want to scan a picture, with Vista it is not as easy as with other operating systems.  I guess that’s why Microsoft went to Windows 7.

Anyway, to scan a picture you bring up your “Windows Photo Gallery” program.  Then click on “File” and in the dropdown the second thing you see will be “import from camera or scanner”.  Click on that and then on your scanner name.

A screen will come up where you can preview the picture you want to scan.  Scan it Import it and Save it just the way you want it.

That’s it.  Not so complicated after all.

QuickBooks is a multi-featured program that allows you to create invoices, customer statements and pay your bills.  It has a facility for writing vendor checks, tracking inventory and managing your payroll.  The program will perform many other accounting and business-management related tasks.

This is the time of year that new small business owners need to prepare all of their bookkeeping for the year on a monthly schedule.  This is a daunting task for anyone new to this scenario.

Rhodes Hall

Another place we visited was the Georgia Aquarium.  If you ever go to Atlanta this is a must see for all ages.

My daughter was at #NAMS in Atlanta while my granddaughter took me around to sightsee at the above places.

The aquarium had a wheelchair available for our use so it was great for me.

I can walk OK but not very far just now.  When I first got sick a year and a half ago, I was housebound for quite a while and that was when I started my career of creating digital products.

Exercise Your Brain With Sudoku

Whenever I want to relax my body & exercise my brain I pick up a pencil & my sudoku puzzle book.

You can buy these books at the dollar store and they have 100 or so puzzles in them ranging from easy to very hard.

Don’t get too wrapped up in them though because once your brain is exercised and fit to go to work you will want to concentrate on writing your ebooks or how-to guides.

Rocket Product Creation

I have just purchased this newly published set of DVD’s and would like to recommend it to all of my visitors. One thing I just love about it is that it is not a downloadable product but a physical product that will be mailed directly to your home address.

I have such a problem with downloads or anything that has to be accessed only on line. Because of my very slow internet service I wait forever it seems to view any videos. Naturally this is very frustrating but with the Rocket Product Creation DVD’s all the videos can be seen immediately. I find this to be a wonderful thing aside from all the great advice in “Rocket Product Creation”.

Digital Camera Video Tip

If you have a digital camera that takes videos as well as still pictures, here is a tip that I found to be useful.

My camera has two buttons on the top and sometimes I, and my daughters in a few cases, accidentally took a video when trying to take a still picture. When we realized the situation we would continue the video until finished.

After transferring all the pictures from the camera to my computer the videos would just be black in Windows Photo Gallery or whatever program I tried to use.

When I tried to view them, with one program you could hear sound but you could not see a picture. In another program you could see a movie with no sound.

I finally found the correct program to use. All you have to do
is click on “Open With” then browse to the program called “Quick Time”.
